Camp Bighorn is situated in the beautiful Clark Fork river valley in northwestern Montana.  The camp is located on Highway 135, just eighteen miles east of the I-90 and the town of St. Regis, and fifteen miles south-east of the town of Plains. We are one hours drive from Missoula, MT and two and a half hours drive from Spokane, WA. Coming from Canada we are approximately four hours from Fernie, BC.

Driving Directions:

To get to Camp from the East, West, or South, get on Interstate 90, and take exit 33 for St. Regis, MT (33 miles from Lookout Pass on the border of MT and ID). From there, travel north on Hwy 135 for 18.5 miles until you see Camp Bighorn on your right. If you see Quinn’s Hot Springs or arrive at a T-intersection, you’ve gone too far.

To get to Camp Bighorn from the North, get on US 93 heading south. If you are north of Polson, you can take Hwy 28 from Elmo to Plains and then take a left on Hwy 200. If you are south of Polson continue down US 93 until you reach the junction with Hwy 200. When you reach the junction of Hwy 200 and Hwy 135 (near Mile post 85) turn south onto Hwy 135. After 3.2 miles you’ll see Camp Bighorn on your left.
