Thanks for visiting!

We are so thankful for all of you who provide us with support, prayer, and encouragement.  We feel very upheld by our friends and family – thank you!  Life is settling into a comfortable rhythm for us here at Camp Bighorn.  Explore is here and we are happy to have their enthusiasm and energy around camp!  They are currently finishing up a time of winter skill learning, in which they have been able to specialize in either skiing, winter hiking, or winter survival.  We were able to head up “the hill” with them for a couple of days and it was great to get in some snowshoeing, hang out in the snow, take some pictures, and get to know the students more!  Explore will be with us here at Camp until April and we are looking forward to many more evening small group times, dinners together, and more winter adventures.  Montreat ( a college in North Carolina) also has a group of students out here and in their few weeks here they have had the opportunity to do a seven day winter trip, and take a WFR course (Wildnerness First Responder) along with Explore 2 (second year students).  We are glad to have so many new faces around!

Bio

Jeremy David Freeman was born April 08, 1985 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. His family includes his father and mother (Ron and Eunice) and his two older sisters (Sara-lynn and Rachelle).  He recently graduated from Prairie with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with a Major in Outdoor Leadership.

Sarah Elizabeth Freeman - was born May 17, 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Her family includes her father and mother (David and Lynette) and her two older sisters (Renae and Michelle). She recently graduated from Prairie with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies.
