Leanna Guinn
Equipment and Logistics Manager
Bio
When I was 12 years-old I started coming to Bighorn as a camper. As I was getting ready for college, God, through a friend, placed Explore in my path. I went to Explore right after I graduated from high school, which led me back to Bighorn.
Near the end of our time at Bighorn, I was offered an internship with camp that would help me get my BA degree in less than four years. After my first summer as an intern, I was encouraged to think about coming on staff. God opened the door for me to come on staff. April of 2006 I came back to finish my internship, knowing I would stay as full-time staff.
My main tasks involve caring for the equipment-buying, selling, inventory, check-in/check-out system, logistics, and medical-first aid room, first aid kits, radios, “camp medic” (caring for those who get sick and injured while at camp). The most important aspect of my job is being in realtionship with pople. My desire, especially with equipment is teaching the value of stewardship.
