Behind Every Strong Thing…

Monday, May 9th, 2011

Behind every strong thing there is a pyramid of support holding it up. Camp Bighorn is no different. Every day, every month, and every year we rely on the generosity and support of volunteers who are committed to seeing the ministry of Camp Bighorn succeed.

Every May we host a work weekend to show our appreciation to our volunteers. This year our Work Weekend will be held May 27-30. The cost is free but housing arrangements will need to be made in advance. If you are planning on attending please RSVP by calling 406-826-3144.

On Sunday evening we will be holding a thank-you banquet to show our appreciation for the work and service done throughout the week. Monday morning will provide a short programming session for those who are interested.

Staff Training 2011

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

Welcome to the beginning of your 2011 Summer experience at Camp Bighorn!

This page has been dedicated to providing updated information to prepare you for your Summer involvement at Camp Bighorn this year.  We are so thankful for your willingness to not only serve, but also to grow in your personal character, leadership, and spiritual life this summer. We could not run our summer and impact lives for Christ without you.

As a reminder, your $250 support goal must be raised and submitted to us by June 1st. Regardless of whether you ask others to contribute financially to your time here or you earn the money through a personal job you have, we are asking all staff to commit to building a network of at least 3 people that will commit to praying for you during your summer at Camp Bighorn. In return we are going to provide some points throughout the summer for you to touch base with these people and update them on what is happening in your life.

Below are some documents that we have provided to help you raise your funds. We encourage you to use them and send them out to your sponsors. They will help explain to your sponsors why you are serving this summer, and what goals you have. For those raising support through donors you can also use the included response card template if you like.
